By very loosely making loops with one piece of steel wire, your jewelry design gets an original and delicate look. For this technique you will need steel wire and irregular, rather small beads (for example mother-of-pearl beads or natural stone beads).
Step 1:
Take a piece of steel wire of about 4 meter (this is approximately the length you will need for a necklace) and string about four beads (depending on the size of the beads) on the wire. Make sure the beads are approximately in the middle of the wire.
Step 2:
String one end of the wire through the first bead. The other three beads now hang in a loop of steel wire.
Step 3:
String again about four beads on the wire.
Step 4:
Thread the wire through the last loop you have made. The loops are now connected which keeps them in place.
Step 5:
Thread the wire through one or two beads that have been strung on the wire in step 3. Another loop has been formed.
Step 6:
Repeat steps 3 – 5 on both sides of the wire (you start at the middle of the wire) until the piece of jewelry has reached the desired length. You can decide the size of the loops to your own accord.
